naveedhahmadBto Toronto Raptors@nba.space•Daily Discussion Thread: Nov 26th - Game Day Edition - Raptors vs. Cavaliers at 7:30pm (SN)English1·2 years agoThis presents another huge opportunity for the Raptors.
A win tonight would not only give them 3 straight victories for the first time this season, but also push them over .500, against a quality Eastern Conference opponent on the road.
I WANT THE DUB

naveedhahmadBto Toronto Raptors@nba.space•The Toronto Raptors edge out the Indiana Pacers, 132-131English1·2 years agoSchroder and Siakam made that game, mixed with a healthy dose of Scottie, a sprinkling of OG and an absolutely essential garnish of Malachi.
WE EAT

Our coach is brand new, our roster is in transition, it’s just going to take time for the Raptors to find the right fit of players and style.

I demand to know who taught Giannis about 69. My money is on Bobby Portis.
naveedhahmadBto Toronto Raptors@nba.space•Daily Discussion Thread: Nov 17th - Post Game Edition - Raptors fall to the CelticsEnglish1·2 years agoThree things I’m optimistic about:
-
Seeing Pascal score more intentionally in the paint versus driving in. He truly is elite at finding the basket when he works in the paint, so if the Raptors offense starts to give him that, I think we’ll level up
-
Unlocking the PnR with Jak. Scottie and Schroder seem to be developing a more reliable consistency with him on that and I think Jak is getting better at it. As a side note, a lot of criticism on here these days towards Jak, but without Koloko, we have to have someone to clog the paint and deal with the Embiid’s of the world. I don’t think Precious can do that, so the positives of Jak far outweighs and negatives
-
Energy levels. If they play with that level of energy and focus they had last night for 48 minutes every night, we’re a Top 6 team in the East. They went toe-to-toe with a fully healthy Celtics squad, arguably the best team in the NBA right now, without OG. But that’s the biggest unknown. Scottie and Pascal were very locked in last night, especially Scottie, and I think it permeated throughout the entire roster. I want Scottie to be like that every night - I do believe this is his team already, and part of leadership is bringing that energy and focus, every game. If Pascal does it too, we’re a very good team, as is
