well i was thinking of having the menu be very small and use a lot of ingredients that produce a lot, spinach for example is basically a weed, with enough space you can have an endless supply of it. And I can try to flash freeze some of the produce when I haervest, doesnt have to be necessarily fresh
I love that movie but not at all, I used to live in North Carolina and theres a free botanical garden over there that would get frequent visitors all the time and it was like my paradise, a free place with pretty plants that are well taken care of. I also work in agriculture and Ive always wanted to have a large farm, I guess the idea from the restaurant came from nowhere, if you have a large enough farm it seems logical that a restaurant selling food grown there could work. But yeah I guess the actual plan is to start a large farm and sell products locally, eventually Ill figure out a menu from the stuff that grows best in the farm and then I can start setting up the botanical garden and the restaurant.

I live in a tropic island, not in the US. Harvest can be stored in vacumm sealed containers and put on the freezer
i was actually never planing on advertising the vegan part, I should’ve elaborated more on that part, its just that raising animals wpuld make this whole thing more complicated since I dont want to have all the ingredients come from the farm. Its just that i want to be able to say “every single ingredient on the menu is grown on this farm” even if that limits my menu severely, one can still come up with a good variety of recipes if one is growing 15 different types of vegetables and fruits. But if I sell meat i can only say” every vegetable and fruit is grown on this farm, the meat is bought” I feel like that ruins the whole thing for me. But now that i’ve thought more about it, I live on an island, I can buy fish from local fisherman and maybe I can raise chicken as well.
