The title made me think that they would start releasing games for linux :(
And here we have a clear example of how Chrome’s almost monopoly is a bad thing for us.
Some good trolling they did out there lol
Out of curiosity, do you use it for fun, or does it provide you with some specific features?
Bring on the political science and jazz posts! Would love to see them around.
Yes, it’s a thing. Brushing too often can damage the enamel and lead to some issues.
However, in my case, it’s my inertia and laziness that are the stronger forces preventing me from taking some extra snacks, and not the fear of overbrushing. 😅
It might sound weird, but I’ve been progressively losing weight by religiously brushing my teeth after eating anything.
I used to have a problem of eating small things like candies and biscuits randomly, as a way to control anxiety. Now I think twice before eating anything, because I don’t want to go and brush my teeth again. After some time doing that, I ended regulating myself and eating at specific times, with no extra eating between them.
Well, there’s the increased storage usage, and in some cases, more ram. There can also be issues with integration with your distro themes, etc.
Many people will consider these as a small cost to the benefits of flatpaks, but I can understand the ones who aren’t sold on it.
That’s a great idea! I will try it tomorrow, thank you.
Edit: Worked nicely :)
If the router provided by my isp won’t allow me to change the dns server, is there a workaround for having to set the local dns server on each device that doesn’t involve getting a new router?
I’m using btrfs, but I still need to read more about how it works. I will try to use this experience as a motivator, thank you.
That’s strange, but anyway, I managed to solve the problem and edited the post with the solution. Thank you for the support.
yes, the last 2 mentioned commands throw the error below and won’t continue the operation:
Error:
Problem: The operation would result in removing the following protected packages: systemd, systemd-udev
I was running dnf update when the system was shut down, and I rebooted when the power was back. The system apparently booted normally, and I tried to complete the upgrade process, to avoid issued. Now, the “dnf update” command shows the error message I posted.
In the original post, the error was in portuguese. Now I changed system language to english and posted the entire output of dnf update in the original post, to make it more readable for the community.
It’s not so simple. I’ve been trying to go the foss self-hosted way, as well as help p2p projects, and I got stuck because I’m behind a cgnat, unable to forward ports, and my shitty isp has no ipv6. I can’t afford vpns at the moment, so I got stuck. Besides, all that needed a lot of tech skills most people won’t have. This is a serious barrier of entry for a lot of people.
I still have a tablet that came with windows 8. That thing was terrible from day 0 and got unusable after a few updates. Fortunately, it’s running android x86 for a few years like a charm.
I’m not sure how much microplastics are released in that way. It can be better than bottles, but if we used non plastic materials for so long, and it worked fine, I see no reason to put plastic in there.
I believe telegram manages that with severe upload and download speed limits, but Telegram has always been a bit shady, hasn’t it? Who knows how they financially support all that.
