Summed it up just great. I loved the story but there were points where I just REALLY hated the game and wanted it to be over.
I played the game for three hours and it just wasn’t for me so I quit playing it. I got it for $40 early I think, on gamepass. I’d refunded the $300 version with the watch because it was a silly purchase a couple weeks before launch, but my partner played it from start to finish and was like “It was okay.”
I haven’t really thought about it until I saw this post. Sometimes a game isn’t for you, and that’s okay. Not everything is going to be a lifechanging franchise FOR YOU. There are tons of games out there, go play them. Let people have their thing.
If I’d spent $300 on a watch and a game that wasn’t for me I might be feeling a little differently right now though, lol.
I have vision impairment so I spent a good part of this game running into trees while my partner was screaming “NO! OVER THERE”!
“OVER WHERE? I’M FUCKING BLIND YOU PIECE OF SHIT THEY DESIGNED THIS GAME POORLY FFS!” It was great. THAT LEVEL, however, was particularly shit because I’m just running to the edge of the stage like, oh, I guess it’s fucking over now because he’s stopped at least I know he’s not going anywhere? haha fuck.
