If Nets were going that direction they should have traded Bridges and DFS when their value was high. They haven’t given the fanbase any indication what their game plan is.

Also trade for whom? Nets should be focused on stars only. There aren’t many of those available. KAT, maybe Zion down the road, I can’t think of anyone else.
I would trade anyone besides Cam Thomas depending on the return.
Nets will keep their powder dry for Zion or Kat before resigning anyone.

1·2 years agoI’m perfectly happy with this record.
Team has to get bigger. Simmons and Claxton will help.

Brooklyn Nets@nba.space•Through 3 games dude looking like our best player. Do we think he’s here to stay or they’re going to sell high ?English
1·2 years agoThey’d be considered a joke if they traded him. He’s 22 and under contract.
Trade him for Luka, Morant, Tatum? A star yes. Trade him for pieces is crazy.
Look for Claxton to be traded. He’s due a payday and it doesn’t seem like he fits with Simmons.

Brooklyn Nets@nba.space•Big Brain Nets fans. Here’s the question: how do we build the team around Cam Thomas??English
1·2 years agoI don’t think Cam J is the 3/D we hope he is. I also think they need to let Claxton attempt to get loose on offense I think he can be an Adebayo type.
Lonnie is not a good defender. I agree he needs minutes.
The core is Cam Simmons and Mikal. To unlock this you need to trade for a scoring big like Kat.
Dinwiddie will be angling for an LA team if he’s moved. I could see him on the Clippers with the rest of the LA crew.
Imo the core should be Simmons(he’s unmoveable) Cam T Bridges Claxton Walker and the rookies.
Not sold on Cam Johnson’s health and size as a PF, if he can be packaged for a piece like Markenen, or Siakam I’d do it.
