I think almost everyone would like him on the team, but the amount that the team would have to give up to trade for him would be steep. Especially considering he’s a free agent this summer.

The Raptors want to keep him, they’re going to ask for multiple firsts and probably Mathurin and/or Nemphard.

He’ll be a free agent this summer, I’d rather the team try to sign him then than trade for him.

Bill Simmons (I know I know) floated TJ to the Spurs for one of the future firsts they own. They have the Hornet’s lottery protected first, a Bulls top 8 protected first, and a Raptors top 6 protected.

Getting any of those for TJ would be a good move. Not sure if the Spurs do it but worth kicking the tires if the team wants to get assets for TJ.
