The Browns have a really, really good defense (least passing yards allowed and top 10 least rushing yards). Offensively, they want to run, which is obviously a weakness for us. It will be an interesting game for sure. Stack the box and dare them to pass should be the strategy on defense. Offensively it’s going to be tough I would guess.
We need to mess with Russ’s internal clock so he thinks it’s the last drive of the game on the first drive of the game, and every drive thereafter.
Way too early to call that. He’s not on a good team. He has very few offensive weapons. His WR1 is 33 year old Thielen. They are a poor running team. West Coast offense is about getting playmakers the ball in space. They don’t have great playmakers. Young is pretty accurate given the limitations they have, and doesn’t throw a ton of picks. I would give it some time.
He’s averaging more than 20 yards per punt return (or about 6 yards more than the highest career average in NFL history) and 33 yards per kick return. Pretty amazing start to his career so far.
Getting an almost lock HOF vet QB thinking that will be the missing piece on your embarrassingly terrible team. Then the season begins.
Oddsmakers have the following coaches ahead of him right now: Dan Campbell +125, DeMeco Ryans +300, Mike McDaniel +500, Kevin O’Connell +1400, Nick Sirianni +1400, Mike Tomlin +2000, Kyle Shanahan +2200, Doug Pederson +2500, Kevin Stefanski +2500, John Harbaugh +2500, Pete Carroll +3000, Shane Steichen +3000
