  • Dude! Are your nails made out of Adamantium?! :)

I have two picks - A soft yellow one, which is slightly thinner and a thicker blue one. The switch was too “stuck together” for the yellow and kept bending it, and too weak for the blue one… I had to improvise and use a mixture of the two. I didn’t realize I was marring the plastic in the process though. :(

Do you have the LE? I suspect nails might work on my old SD, but the new one (possibly just the LE from the comments I’ve read) is night and day tougher to open… at least mine is :(

  • I’ve used my Apple Watches in the ocean. Just remember to wash it off after. It detects when you’re swimming. There’s even a mode that locks the touch function of the screen since the water activates the screen. Finally when you disable the water mode (i forget what it’s called), it plays a tone on the watch + vibrates so that any water is expelled.

  • I run two pfsense routers and use CARP. 1gbps/50 cable modem with 5 static ips available on both pfsenses, and a 1 gbps symmetrical FTTH with 1 static ip also available on both pfsenses (but uses CARP to know which is “live” - it uses pppoe, which makes this possible with 1 ip).

My current single point of failure is my single main switch. Works very well though. I’ve had 100% uptime for over a year!
