Our planet is literally dying, and humankind is going to be decimated (at least) directly due to the actions of corporations.

Hours later she was still at it, hairs scattered, baffled looking… saying how could someone live with so many choices lol.
Oh man I relate to this so hard hahaha…
Do everything you can to try to preserve those settings, because you will need to do a clean install at some point (well maybe not, I’m sure it depends on your distro), and you’re gonna lose all of it.
You could just send it to me instead of letting it fall… Just a thought.
Have you seen the new Dodge Darfur?
I know right? imagine having even one car…
Took me weeks to figure out a way to run a script at startup in a konsole window that gets hidden but continues running in the background. Tmux could do it but I found it cumbersome.
screen did the trick with a single command.
Ok. I guess I just didn’t automatically understand what “the shortcut” meant.
Hamburger? Who eats a burger without cheese? In this political climate?
Weirdly, a lot of them seem to care a whole lot about the color of their speech bubbles in their sms app
To be fair, you can do pretty much anything on a rooted Android.
But I wouldn’t say “instantly” since you’d have to root it first.
Dunno about other Androids, but just hitting the “power” (or wake or whatever it is) button 3 times on the Pixel pulls up the camera app. Even if the phone is currently locked. I think you can set it up so one of the physical buttons takes a photo as well but not 100% sure.
Meh, I haven’t really missed it as much as I expected. The one and only (pretty minor in my case) issue I’ve run into is not being able to charge the phone while connected to the car’s stereo. Though it wouldn’t surprise me if you could just use a usb-c splitter to do that.
Lol back when I was a kid, my mom would wait in the car with the AC while I returned the cart.
Though unless I’m misremembering, I think I often volunteered for cart return duty as it would give me a chance to push the cart super fast and ride it.
These things have existed in US stores for literal decades now. At least 25+ years that I can say from personal experience, and probably much longer than that.
People are referring to the bigger carts that they use when they need bigger orders like from a grocery store.
Sure, but it doesn’t mean they’re not going to think you’re stealing and follow you around and/or give you shit.
I’m sure there are a ton of factors at play here, including the general area where the store is, and the person’s skin color.
Hmmmm… I am having trouble refuting this logic. Perhaps it should be viewed on case-by-case basis.
If you’re done shopping and are about to leave, and you see a bunch of random carts strewn about the lot with an underpaid employee rushing around to collect them, then yeah, don’t be a dick. Put the cart back.
But if the lot is already clear of carts, then maybe it does make sense to leave a cart around (in an area where it won’t hit a car or something)…
I will have to consider this…
It is definitely leading us directly to a type of feudalism though. Where power is held by billionaires and corporations instead of local warlords.
