You can ask “what if?” all you want, but that doesn’t make your imagined alternative real. The news media calls states when they’re confident in the outcome. Show me somewhere they got it wrong
News orgs call states based on a combination of polls and vote counts. States that poll significantly in one direction or the other are typically called early in that direction because the outcome is not in doubt
Unfortunately these things play out over decades rather than months 😩
If someone fakes their identity to donate money, the person committing the fraud is the person faking their identity. Big brains over here probably created a fraudulent ActBlue account and donated money, thinking “gotcha!” Lmao
Texas AG Ken Paxton is following a procedural process that builds a legal pathway.
This reads like it was written by a “sovereign citizen,” aka “making shit up.”
Charlie Gordon haunts my nightmares

I’ll bite…what is on that plate
What did you do with them after you met them?
Yeah, I wouldn’t underestimate the impact internet culture has had on this stat. A subset of young people have done so little socializing in real life that they feel intense anxiety about it and spend most of their free time alone with their devices. This can lead to failure in education, employment, and relationships. I say this because I know some of them
Funny story, what we call pine cones today used to be called pineapples. When the term pine cone took over, it left behind the fruit we still call a pineapple.
Also, bananas have been called “long apples” and eggplants “love apples.” Basically “apple” was a descriptor meaning “fruit.”
The word ultimately derives from a Dravidian language – possibly Tamil நாரம் nāram or Telugu నారింజ nāriṃja or Malayalam നാരങ്ങ nāraŋŋa — via Sanskrit नारङ्ग nāraṅgaḥ “orange tree”. From there the word entered Persian نارنگ nārang and then Arabic نارنج nāranj. The initial n was lost through rebracketing in Italian and French, though some varieties of Arabic lost the n earlier.
The word “orange” entered Middle English from Old French and Anglo-Norman orenge. The earliest recorded use of the word in English is from the 13th century and referred to the fruit.
Sure, but in those stats we’re talking households making $100-$150K a year, who are not going to drop $27K on a bottle of whiskey lol
They also seem unlikely to shop at Costco
It’s not different, that was my point.
Are you sure it has permission to track your location? I’m not seeing that one. Either way, they share nothing with your employer
Duo is just a widely used third party multifactor authentication app, which is useful for organizational cybersecurity.
I had it on my phone for years working at a hospital and really never had any privacy concerns with it the way I have with other apps. The convenience of being able to respond to work emails on your phone is totally worth it
You need to put effort in to get to know your grandparents. I was fortunate to have one grandmother who lived to 93 and had her wits about her the whole time. My other 3 grandparents died before I graduated high school, but her I knew til I was in my 30s. I had a chance to visit her quite a few times on my own so it was just the two of us, and got to know her pretty well.
So where in what you posted did the IMF seize a Sri Lankan port to finance a debt
The methods of salmonella mitigation, storing eggs from vaccinated chickens unwashed at room temp or storing washed eggs in the refrigerator, have roughly equal outcomes. There are still many egg-related salmonella outbreaks across Europe each year, roughly equivalent to the US. One method is not superior to another as far as outcomes, they’re just two different systems that already exist and therefore are unlikely to change without a good reason
