Bro jock landale is the new daishen nix. He’s so bad
We don’t have to win road games this season as long as they win every single home game. I’d be fine with that
We beat the clippers. Just didn’t beat the refs
Yup. Now imagine them all oiled up and vigorously wrestling each other
Anyone have a link to the full podcast
Jokic is 7 years older. Imagine Sengun with another 7 years of NBA training and conditioning
Offensively, the rockets have identity and structure this year. Defensively, the rockets have accountability and effort this year. It also helps that we’re not actively trying to lose games this year. The last 3 years we have been tanking to get lottery draft prospects. Here’s my proof, We gave Daishen Nix 1175 minutes. No one trying to win games plays that guy. We’ve ended the first stage of the rebuild and brought in vets and a new coach to compete.
This is what you want to see out of a guy with his size, speed, and athleticism. Need him to get used to systematic basketball down there. He’ll be fine scoring in NBA he’s 240lbs lean and 18 or 19.
Sengun was a +21
If I’m lebron I’m just dunking like that every play. Why doesn’t he just dunk everytime? Is he stupid?
If the lakers could shoot we’d be in trouble
Jeff green 10x better than jock & 3 times better than jabari
I get that fans in this sub want to turn the page and forget kpj existed but this is still relevant to the sub.
Kpj was a rocket just a few months ago & this was the reason he was kicked off the team.
Plus this is John Lucas’ goddaughter.
All time clown act halftime show
What were sengun’s most prominent basketball skills when you watched him play in Turkey? What has sengun improved upon or developed since joining the NBA?
Draymond steph & Klay dodging the rockets confirmed.
When we got udoka we also got several other assistant coaches that came with him. Feel like that has more of an impact on the team than any 1 singular coaching change, even if it is the head coach.
Silas was the head coach for 3 years. Initially hired under the impression he would handle coaching James Harden & friends team structure. The moment James left Houston, we went into full tank mode. Daantoni leaves & so does Morey. Westbrook trade sends our picks to Oklahoma and we’re short on young talent from trading our late 1st round picks for vets.
Rockets committed to being ass by trading away several serviceable veterans for picks so that we could make a strategic bounce back to winning basketball when we no longer own our picks. Losing for 3 seasons was on purpose. It’s not like anyone expects a team of 1st & 2nd year players to win a chip.
Still I’m impressed by udokas staff that has influenced the culture change.
Vets we brought on (not you jock) have been so important to our teams play. We can play with 1 or 2 guys that aren’t extremely experienced if we have vets to make up for it. But last 3 years, all 5 players on the court had never been a part of a winning nba offensive or defensive system.
Silas may be a good coach in many other ways but with this team and the difficult circumstances he faced it’s safe to say that he did not perform well. Which is likely exactly what ownership wanted so they could acquire assets.
Up 10 with 5 min to go against the reigning champs holy shit
Jocks first points as rocket??
