Similarly, maybe just luck, but I’ve not really had a problem with windows since windows 10/server 2019. Yeah it’s resource heavy but I can’t even recall anything I’ve specifically had to delve into forums to troubleshoot. That said I haven’t had to do any windows desktop support since windows 7, thank the gods.
I deployed several server 2022 vms at work due to special circumstance and its actually good out of box, I only disabled some print services and my gold image was ready. Those have been running for a year and I’ve only rebooted them due to patching. Very different than the windows I adminned back in the 2000s.
I’m not sure what you mean? I’m listing examples of socialism working. I’m not able to move to Norway, or Iceland for example which is also successful due to socialism.
The best countries to live on the planet are socialist and there are statistics to back that up.
You’re wrong about me just believing what others say. I’m economically left but socially right, it’s a pretty uncommon political opinion to have but I’m not going to elaborate because a mod will get butthurt and ban me for my opinions.
I made a few edits you probably didn’t read before replying, sorry
I’ve lived there and will be permenantly relocating there. I guess I will be joining team Finland but I still disagree that I am “team left”.
To me it sounds like you’ve just never personally experienced socialism working.
Here’s another example of socialism working https://www.nbim.no/en/
If you don’t understand what that large number means it is the savings account of the entire country thanks to the oil boom. No one in Norway has to ever worry about money, assuming the government continues doing their job correctly.
Unlike Alberta, where I’m from, the people individually reaped the profits of the oil boom and we have fuck all to show for it. People spent the money on fancy toys like trucks. Those guys who used to make 300k a year, majority are broke now.
Canada could have been the richest nation on the planet if we socialized our natural resource profits. We were in the same boat as Norway but only they came out rich, what do you think is the main difference?
Just copy Finland’s housing policy. They solved it and it involved government. Best country to live on the planet btw
In Canada it seems to depend on the city. Calgary is good at zipper merging, Victoria doesn’t seem to know what it is.
Up until now I thought it was the same Stanley that makes tools which was making no sense to me
I’m in IT and I don’t believe this will happen for quite a while if at all. That said I wouldn’t let this keep you up at night, it’s out of your control and worrying about it does you no favours. If AI really can replace people then we are all in this together and we will figure it out.
Linux sysadmin here too. I run Windows on my main workstation now because I have no patience for issues like sound not working when I join a video call and shit like that. Your post perfectly describes my gripe with Linux.
Windows sucks but 99 percent of problems are solved by simply rebooting the motherfucker.
You know what a house costs in Canada?
And in Finland people proudly pay the tax because the system actually works and they have confidence in it
Have you lived in finland or visited? It works if done correctly
BTW I am within top 5% earners in canada
Rich forced to share with the poor
Hoped you would use your imagination. Born in the 90s, glorified slave, don’t own anything.
My “team”?
And because capitalism is trash obviously, the root of all problems in my life
I’m a leftist and Greta always seemed like a load of bullshit to me
Pretty sure her ultra rich parents made it happen
What the hell, that game costs more than 100 cad after tax
