I have ‘night mode’ and ‘extra dark’ in my quick settings right below the slider. If I can get rid of one or both with an updated slider that’d be a great improvement. Never understood why smartphones are so super bright by default.

I am far away from being a pro and own several Bosch Blue tools that were all rather cheap. You can buy them in every hardware store. Fein, Hilti etc. are usually far more expensive. As I don’t own them, I can’t compare the quality but I’d say Bosch Blue is mostly a consumer brand.

I highly doubt that’s a China specific issue. Far too many politicians have additional ‘jobs’ as consultants, speakers or a seat in a supervisory board. At least in Germany it’s unfortunately quite common, especially in the more conservative parties, to have additional income that exceeds your regular salary as a representative.

I’m not on your instance and I don’t know the link but I 100% agree to your sentiment. I think if we want Lemmy to grow and instances to flourish, we have to also federate the financial burden of hosting it. The admins already spend a lot of their free time on maintenance and content moderation, so those who can afford it should at least throw in some small donations. :)

Anyone found the specific numbers of acceptance rate with in comparison to no knowledge of the gender?

On researchgate I only found the abstract and a chart that doesn’t indicate exactly which numbers are shown.
