smkmn13Bto NBA - Main@nba.space•Which guards would you choose from the East and West right now to be All-Stars?English1·2 年前West: Luka, Steph, SGA, Ant
East: Hali, Maxey, LaMelo…then Dame? The last East spot is tough - I could see Mitchell, Trae, or even Brunson there too.
The answer to “why am I seeing ____ on Bleacher Report” is really “why am I seeing Bleacher Report at all and what can I do to avoid this in the future?”
I’m actually more shocked there have been only 9 fines so far, and all for guards.
smkmn13Bto NBA - Main@nba.space•[Post Game Thread] The Minnesota Timberwolves (11-3) defeat the Philadelphia 76ers (10-5), 112 - 99English1·2 年前This year I’m thankful for u/rswany
smkmn13Bto NBA - Main@nba.space•The Atlanta Hawks have scored 299 points in their last two games. How sustainable is this?English1·2 年前I mean OT in the last two games too, so…not at all likely/sustainable.
smkmn13Bto NBA - Main@nba.space•[Post Game Thread] The Minnesota Timberwolves (10-3) defeat the New York Knicks (8-6), 117 - 100English1·2 年前Maybe they should trade the Knicks to KAT
smkmn13Bto NBA - Main@nba.space•What Draymond did to Gobert was unacceptable in 2023 and the NBA needs to act now to have their brand's standards aligned moving forward into 2024.English1·2 年前Honestly him refusing to let go when his own coaches were around was some scary shit.
smkmn13Bto NBA - Main@nba.space•[Highlight] Chaos breaks out in the Wolves/Warriors gameEnglish1·2 年前But sure, let’s make sure to give out more techs for when guys flex after a dunk.
Needs more Woodstock.
(Just kidding, mostly - these are better than 90% of the league’s city unis this year, and represent exactly what a “fun” alternate should be about - only wear it a few times a year, you know, for FUN.)
I usually resist this kind of conclusion but man this thread is the absolute worst (best?) example of this (as in, your comment is absolutely accurate). The downvotes for obviously accurate information that just happens to be about a player they don’t like for other reasons is nutso.
smkmn13Bto NBA - Main@nba.space•Draymond's shove should've been a flagrant/common foul, not tech according to the rules.English1·2 年前Cry bout it.
The irony of “cry about it” when you’re literally saying “we won’t talk to you /will downvotes you about this interesting wrinkle in the rules that may have been misapplied because I don’t like that guy and he makes me so mad!”
smkmn13Bto NBA - Main@nba.space•Draymond's shove should've been a flagrant/common foul, not tech according to the rules.English1·2 年前So I guess it’s indeed impossible to have a normal discussion about rules if it involves Draymond, lol.
This is abundantly clear - I don’t like Draymond (or the Warriors lol but good luck tonight) but I like rules discussions / referee accountability. The downvotes you’re getting on here make it pretty clear everybody would rather just shit on Draymond / say “he deserves it no matter what!” than actually have a discussion about the rules.
smkmn13Bto NBA - Main@nba.space•Cavs’ Donovan Mitchell: Warriors’ Draymond Green ‘Pushed Me, so I Pushed Him Back’English1·2 年前Both were during live ball, which makes it wild they got Draymond for a tech and not a flagrant
Does a tight reading of this rule mean, if the ball is in play, you can only get a tech for taking a swing at someone if you *don’t" connect? Landing a punch makes it a flagrant?
It is! All I’m saying is that this graphic is cause for even major-er celebration!

Ok, not to be a downer, but this is just a mathematical consequence of having the best team defense at the moment. For example, nobody really thinks Tatum is a better defender (now, past, ever) than Giannis, but Tatum is here at 15 while Giannis is at 143 because Boston’s defense has been much better than Milwaukee’s.
Good for the Wolves to have a good defense, but this isn’t a good reflection of the individual defensive skills of these guys vs. the rest of the league.
smkmn13Bto NBA - Main@nba.space•Giannis getting ejected is the softest ejection I've seen since Tim Duncan got ejected for laughing on the bench.English1·2 年前I continue to be flabbergasted by the culture of NBA / refereeing / ejections in comparison to the NFL. I get that fans are closer so there’s more desire to keep player conduct in check, but the number of ejections in NBA games for non-basketball actions vs. NFL (where it almost NEVER happens except for throwing a punch) is absolutely nuts.
Scuse me while I swipe down to refresh for a bit waiting on rswany
