The gender star is anything but gender neutral. It highlight the different genders artificially and still makes the female variant of the word the second choice by separating it like this /* This differentiates it from the default general masculine word which is supposed to include everybody and further strengthens the image of the man as the default in a certain job. I hope this will help lenghten the battery life of my laptop. I use it for school and when I put it in Idle it still drains in like 8 hours or something really bad. I’ll try it out later and edit the comment to see what happened

The redesign is actually what convinced me to switch to Thunderbird. Otherwise I would’ve never used it since for me it was an eyesore!

Thunderbird with the Proton Mail Bridge on desktop, Proton Mail client on mobile although I’d prefer to have all my mails on K9 since I have multiple mail accounts and haven’t fully migrated from gmail.
