YO. San Antonio. Y’all have easily solidified yourselves as a top-tier NBA fanbase in my mind — thank you so much for your support of this concept.
Thanks to you (and the outpouring of love on Twitter and IG), the Navaira family reached out wanting to get these produced, and the link to preorder is now live here: https://www.prolinemockups.com/apparel/p/tpaxton-san-antonio
I hope you love wearing these as much as I loved designing it! My growing family (wife and I have a baby due in 5 weeks!) appreciate all the support and every order. 🥹🫶🏼
#PorVida forever, y’all. #GoSpursGo
I hear that! I considered adding a few more details, but simplicity is at the core of The Roots design for almost everything they do (photo + simple text, almost always Helvetica) so I tried to meet in the middle and do something that felt like it honored Sixers design as well as Roots design.
Thanks for the feedback!
When doing the research, a lot of the results were boy bands (obviously Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, O-Town, etc.) but Death is highly regarded in the death metal genre and seen as pioneers of the genre. Had to give credit where credit is due. Used the album covers for Scream Bloody Gore and Spiritual Healing (as well as the band’s iconic logo) as inspiration for a lot of the details.
