gunfire reborn released each of it’s dlc packs ~1 year apart and i’ve bought all three. going on 4 years since initial release and the game still feels fresh as hell.

yeah the optics would be waaayyy better if they were encouraging the school aged children to shoot eachother as a campaign action. silly dems bungled it again.
i think they’re generally unserious, but i reckon professional troll is a harsh assessment.
no users, but i have blocked 117 (mostly porn) communities and 2 entire instances
i played through the whole of below zero on a deck and it ran swimmingly! i think it was before final release too, so probably not even fully optimized at that point.
“young bond for gamers” already sounds so hilariously out of touch.
if he’s not cranking 90s and hitting the griddy then he’ll NEVER be the young bond for THIS gamer.
Mission to Zyxx and The Orbiting Human Circus. Both absolute masterpieces in their own ways.
i’m a photoshop simp who straight up couldn’t use GIMP because of the clunky UI, but after switching to linux i’m an avid photogimp advocate.
i forgot those later filmpacks had batteries, golly what a boondoggle! at least polaroid is making em first party again, maybe someday it’ll be an affordable medium lmao
lmao we’ve had opposite experiences! i bought 2 old-ass polaroid land cameras that were perfectly functional, and took probably 50 pictures on each of em before the prices on fp-100c film started creeping above $1 per shot.
the impossible project continues to make type 100 film, but they currently charge ~$50 for THREE shots. for context the discontinued fp-100c filmpacks come in 10 packs and would run you ~$100 today. upsettingly high, but STILL CHEAPER than the modern replacement :c
because she’s a teacher she probably pays out of pocket for school/project supplies. i’ve known a good few teachers, and refereeing to students as sort-of surrogate children is very common. i’d put my money on the mom hassling the daughter about not yet having kids, and the daughter saying something like “i already have kids!” and this idiot is still bitter about it because she feels she is OWED grandchildren.
i’m making a LOT of assumptions here, but like i said i WOULD put money on it. you hear enough firsthand stories and you start making these sort of assumptions.
i’ve happened into SO MUCH vintage audio gear this exact way hahahah
doorbell cam is just about the only thing i can think of
if you can’t keep your entire music collection in the player, what’s the point?
you can occasionally find these at goodwills or on ebay for like $70, 90% of the time they just need new belts for the carousel. they even have a special port on the back that lets you daisychain two of em together and share outputs, AND they read home-burned cd-text. it’s a physical media pirate’s dream machine lol
yeah, reckon we’ve both been getting a bit semantic lol
i can’t speak for the original person, but my whole thing is regardless of consumer practices, manufacturerers are gonna keep making more and more phones every year, and they’re already making too many. those NIB phones on ebay were purchased, but not to be used. until they get sold, they’re just closer and closer to trash every day.
trade ins and buying/selling used DOES make a difference, it’s just hard not to think it’s a drop in the bucket compared to the massive amounts of electronics that end up getting discontinued, discounted, and sold to resellers hahaha
Yeah but new phones that go unpurchased don’t just magically get unmanufactured. I ONLY buy used phones, but that has literally no impact on the garbage production that comes from companies releasing a new model literally every year.
The sheer number of old phones that are still new-in-box on the secondhand market should be enough to exemplify that fact. We are WAY overproducing tech, and the “model a year” framework is throwing fuel on that particular fire.
It’s like people really think “reduce reuse recycle” is LITERALLY ALL IT’S GONNA TAKE. 1 year upgrade cycles are just as bad as fast fashion for how quickly they produce GARBAGE.
apprentice bench jeweler, but during the day all i really do is wait on customers so i end up with WAY too much free time. i get to make all sorts of cool shit tho!
