I’ll always be a BB guy, he’s the GOAT. Preseason I was of the firm opinion that he retires a Patriot. I didn’t anticipate 2-8 and the looming full reboot. I still have no idea what will happen, but as we discuss next year’s draft wishlist I can’t stop wondering what extra draft capital we may have if BB heads elsewhere.

Is it a 2024 first rounder? Right now SD picks at 14. I can see that happening considering they are a team that seems to be an HC away from being a serious team. NYG is currently at #2. I don’t see that happening at all - and outside of the history there I don’t see the appeal of NYG to BB.

It’s also impossible to know how BBs contract impacts this situation. There is undoubtedly clauses, options, language etc that outline termination scenarios, but we have no idea what they are.

I’m thinking the conversation starts at a 2024 first rounder. Looking forward to hearing others’ thoughts…
