Okudah was traded for a 5th, not bad when you look at Ramsey getting traded for a 3rd and Hunter Long. But the fact is that he is playing very well, almost pro bowler type level down int ATL. My opinion is that he needed a fresh start anyway, but it would’ve been nice to see him play like that up here with Sutton on the other side. They are going to pay him probably above average money based off this season and future potential market cost and production, but I root for the guy. What’re your thoughts? Should we have kept him? Btw that 5th rounder was used to get Branch so not hate whatsoever.

We freed up about $5mil by moving him, which gave us some headroom for emergency signings and trades (right now we’re sitting on less than 7mil of cap space)

Now that we know Moseley is out for the year and Jacobs is injured, it would be nice to have a guy like Okudah—but you don’t pay a CB 10.5 mil to be your 3rd or 4th guy. Felt like the trade was inevitable after we signed 2 outside CBs and a nickel/safety.

There were also a lot of rumors that he fell out of favor with the coaching staff. Not sure how true that is, but it would not surprise me
