A couple decades ago I lived in CC and had season tickets, so everything about game day was simple - take the BSL down and back.

Now I live much further out, in the suburbs, and am hoping to take my kid to his first game, against the Niners. It sounds like driving to/from and parking at the stadium is an expensive, time-sucking nightmare for those simply looking to park and not tailgate. I’m considering driving to Fern Rock, parking there, and taking the BSL to and from the game. I recall from my city days that coming home on the BSL was really crowded and not always fun, but it worked.

Any reason not to do this?

I considered that, especially since we have a regional rail station near us, but if we just miss the train, we will be waiting an hour for the next one. Not sure I want to hang at Fern Rock for an hour on a Sunday night.
