hey guys. my girlfriend drives a blue 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport and it currently smells like gas on the inside. no leaking under the car, but it smells like gas when you turn the air on. we have to drive 4 hours home tomorrow, and we’re currently in the middle of nowhere (college students) so there’s no car places near us currently. is it safe to drive home? so we can get home and take it to get looked at?
Doubtful. If you can smell gas from the vents it’s most likely leaking somewhere in the engine bay, which get very hot.
