Just curious, because personally I bought it mostly with a hope that I will start playing games again and I’m overthinking if it will be what I needed.

Lately (for 2 years) feeling kinda depressed and not really playing games, finished one title (Disco Elysium) in this time. I have some backlog at steam but I’m thinking if I’ll even use the deck…

I’m going to share my experience and perhaps a different perspective to the majority of people.

I feel like a lot of people bought Steam Deck for its portability, and they want to play it while having a busy life/work, outside of home, or at home but bringing the Deck everywhere.

For me, since 80% of my time is inside my room, I don’t really feel that Steam Deck is that mind-blowing. BUT, it gave me options if I’m sick of being inside of my room.

Sometimes I want to play games on the terrace, or living room. Just to change the scenery. And once in a full moon, I bring the Deck outside to a cafe or something. It’s pretty nice.
