Dallas clearly has a high end DB in Bland. Might be worthy of a discussion on shipping out Diggs not just for cap space but assets to improve the team more.

If they can make it a post June 1 it’s a $12m cap savings. Maybe get a 1st plus another pick?

Bland‘s contract has two more years but realistically at most we can expect just another year before he squeezes the team for a pay raise. (though if I’m his agent it happens this off-season).

Befor anyone calls me out for this suggestion remember this is Digg’s second significant lower body injury.

Here are some choices to answer your question:

    1. No

    2. Fuck no

    3. Sir, this is a Wendy’s

    4. Eagles aren’t getting Diggs. Go back to throwing batteries at Santa.

    5. No and you posting this on your main account proves monkeys at typewriters with shock rods up their asses can’t replace Shakespeare.

In all seriousness, if top 10 cb’s in the league are that easy to replace, how come the Cowboys took decades to replace Deion? It’s one thing if the doctor had red flags about Diggs. Diggs is also as good as a teammate as there is. He never causes issues, he us the furthest thing from a diva. You aren’t getting rid of just a cb for draft picks that may or may not hit. You are getting rid of a top cb with unreal ball skills that is the consummate teammate.

At best, you would get 2 number 1’s most likely spread over 2 years. What teams are a cb away, have the cap room, and would do a trade? Do any of those teams have a pick in the top 10? It’s not worth it to trade Diggs. I don’t see a scenario where a most likely late first riunder next year gets us further than Diggs does.
