Reid has always been ahead of the curve as far as offenses in the NFL. And Vick almost plugged right in.
But yea if a team had and took the time to build an offense that took advantage of what mike Vick did well yea… cause defenses weren’t prepared to stop it.
And no having a spy wouldnt stop it. If it did dual threat qb wouldn’t be where the majority of the game is headed.
Straight pocket passers are a thing of the past.
Mahomes throws from the pocket a lot but he is able to do things guys with cement feet aren’t anble to. You gotta at least be able to scramble and extend plays to be an elite QB now. Those players are the majority now and certainly weren’t when vick first came around.
