Im gonna go ahead and say yes. He has admitted he had piss poor work ethic being the last one in practice and first out . Yet even with little dedication to studying the game more he had moments of pure brilliance. Leading us past Brett Favre while barely being past 21, and NFC championship appearance as well. I think if young Mike Vick had the same mindset as 2010 Mike Vick just being willing to learn and study the game and playbook as well as choosing his circle outside of football carefully we likely get a ring at some point and he probably goes down as an eventual hall of famer. The sky was the limit.

I don’t see it. How many times better does he look vs a Jim Johnson defense? Because he needed to be at least 10x better to beat them. Even if his studying got him a home game. I could see the falcons not imploding like they did, but a SB is too much.

I think so. He never was worried about being the best passer he could be here and yet he still looked dominant at times ie; rams blowout in playoffs and leading the falcons to being the first team to ever hand a playoff loss to the packers in Lambeau against Brett Favre.

    Obviously.

He was unstoppable for a few games in Philadelphia.

If he had Andy Reid as a hc his entire career he wins at least one…maybe more.

Reid has always been ahead of the curve as far as offenses in the NFL. And Vick almost plugged right in.

But yea if a team had and took the time to build an offense that took advantage of what mike Vick did well yea… cause defenses weren’t prepared to stop it.

And no having a spy wouldnt stop it. If it did dual threat qb wouldn’t be where the majority of the game is headed.

Straight pocket passers are a thing of the past. Mahomes throws from the pocket a lot but he is able to do things guys with cement feet aren’t anble to. You gotta at least be able to scramble and extend plays to be an elite QB now. Those players are the majority now and certainly weren’t when vick first came around.
