We have the wrong coach. This scheme is stale, it shows an utter lack of understanding of what the talent on the roster is capable of, and an inability to scheme any sort of advantage for players.

We have the wrong GM. The roster is in a talent deficiency due to years of parting with the meager elite talent they had and not even coming close to replenishing it. The best draft picks of the Fitt-era are a shaky LT and a CB that can’t stay healthy. He’s had some of the worst day 2/3 performances in the league, and those misses on downroster players are what make a bad team capable of looking historically awful. This team would have been better off cutting every Fitt pick besides Bryce, Horn, and Ickey and replacing them with street FAs, and even those three are sus.

We don’t have the right QB. Listening to all of the organizational discussion before the season, Bryce was the pick because he was high-character, high-floor, high-level processor. That has not played out on the field. Blame the line, the scheme, the WR room if you like but guys like Sam Howell (!) and Tommy DeVito (!!) at least flash NFL quality and NFL statlines while toiling in equally hopeless positions. Howell is gonna set a single-season sack record and DeVito just won while getting sacked nine times in a game. It’s pretty wild that you can’t crack 250 yards for a 1-9 team in 2023 with the amount of garbage time you’re getting. Does anyone think he’s getting there?

And all of those misses are possible because we don’t have the right owner. He thinks he’s big brain because he is a billionaire and caught titletown fumes from the Stillers for a few years. Stop fucking meddling in football ops, hire a professional search firm to rebuild the FO, find your wife a new hobby, put natural grass back in BoA, and stop destroying this franchise.
