This one goes out to all my jets fans that are fans cuz “my dad likes them” my 9 year old self should have chose a different team like so what my entire family is from NY, I WAS BORN IN FLORIDA but I decide to like the jets and its too fucking late to like another team at this point THIRTEEN YEARS now I’ve been a jets fan and there’s just no way out of this

    I was born into it myself. Family of Jets fans. The sad part is the old timers I know are so mentally checked out at this point it’s not even funny. They’ll watch for 5 minutes, laugh, and turn the TV off. We are so predictably incompetent. There’s no point watching when you know exactly what’s gonna happen.

      I am a Mets fan and I was at game six of the 1986 World Series so I will say the miracles do happen. Although that was actually a very good team so maybe the comparison isn’t apt. The Jets have sucked for so long. I really thought they were gonna go deep into the playoffs in 2015. No, they broke my heart again. In recent years, just when you think they can’t get any worse, they kind of reach a new level of terribleness. Witness yesterday. I wonder what level of awfulness we will have to bear on Friday.
