My dad is a giants fan, we were both born and raised in Jersey. The reason I became a jets fan was because I was a rebellious 8 year old who wanted to cheer for a different team but wanted that team to still be local, so here we are. If I had just become a Giants fan like him at the same time I could have been a fan for the 2011 SB, I did this to myself lol

I am a Mets fan and I was at game six of the 1986 World Series so I will say the miracles do happen. Although that was actually a very good team so maybe the comparison isn’t apt. The Jets have sucked for so long. I really thought they were gonna go deep into the playoffs in 2015. No, they broke my heart again. My family are basically Giants fans when it comes to Football. I choose the Jets because of color, they had the coolest, in my opinion, classic players such as Namath & Klecko. Wayne Chrebet, Martin, Victor Green and Mawae were my favorite players that got me into the Jets. Sehorn for the Giants and Moulds for the Bills were dope, but I stuck with the Jets.
I still ride or die with this team, but I could have been a Ravens or Raiders fan because of the 00 Ravens and 76 Raiders.
