I’ve seen people discuss how changing the OC in the middle of a season is a lot more limiting than people realize.
Assuming that’s true, what can we realistically expect for the rest of the season?
For example, the media and opposing defenses have talked a lot this year about knowing exactly what plays were coming based on pre-snap stuff. Is there anything that can be done to fix this in the current season?
What kind of things can and can’t be done?
Well, I’ve read that the OC duties are going to be split between two of the guys who worked under Canada, so it’s likely they have similar philosophies. Maybe we could get VERY lucky & they also thought Canada was an idiot, but kept quiet to keep their jobs. 🤞
However, there’s not really time for the players to learn a whole new offensive, so they’ll probably run a lot of the same, or similar) plays, but change the timing of when they’re called.
