That would leave us with both Melton and Caruso to pair up with Maxey as our top three guards, with Pat Bev as the fourth.
What would be maximum offer you would bid to make it happen, or is it a non starter?
Why? Springer IS Caruso. Defense first guard that can give me 8-10 in 20 MPG. That is a completely lateral trade that doesn’t make us better AND the pick compensation on top?
Springer’s emergence closed the door on Chicago having anything we’ re interested in.
