Shakir will probably be more productive, but Gabe still fills a vital role in the offense as his size makes him a pretty good blocker which helps alot with the run game and can still warrant at least enough of a threat that defenses can’t just totally ignore him. Definitely more of “if everyone else is covered, deep ball to Davis might work ok” situation than an automatic second look.
