With 93 games remaining, there are about 10 octillion different ways the N.F.L. regular season could end. How many of those put the Bills in the playoffs? Far too many to check by hand.
So we built this simulator.

I’m ready to be hurt again
to some, the sudden departure of longtime defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier in February felt like a throwback to Pegula’s more chaotic past. It reeked of panic
LMAO! Frazier got a whole nother season after 13 seconds.
Blitzkrieg Bop
In the 3-5 2021 skid, their win margins were 15, 25, and 28; in this season’s 2-4 skid the margins are 5 and 6.
If we just barely make it in while still playing Dorseyball: anybody.
If they take the offense off its leash and play to its strengths: nobody. (OK, a tiny bit nervous about the Bengals just because we’re 0-2 against Burrow. But they can be beaten.)
Concerned that the Bills will continue to trust the same process that lost 3 of their last 5 games.
If nothing changes, nothing changes. Without substantial changes in how the offense is run - under Dorsey or someone else - 5-4 becomes 9-8 and a seat on the couch.
haven’t been blown out
Nor have we blown anyone out in the last 5 weeks, despite playing 3 bad teams.
A division championship was no longer supposed to be a goal, but a stepping stone.
No, we don’t “got it good.”
That’s why the playoff probability goes in the crapper with 2 more losses.
