Before this season, I clowned on everyone saying we need a WR1. I thought Kelce would be suffice to work as our WR1 and the WR2s and 3s already on the roster would work for us.

I was wrong. Kelce is still an animal, but it’s becoming clear that our deep threat isn’t a threat at all. Our WRs hands are a joke to the entire league.

I was wrong and I will admit that. My only hope is that we go get someone before our window closes to do so.

    If Travis, who previously couldn’t be stopped, was still that 1300+ guy then I’d contend your initial assessment is right. They don’t need a true #1 WR because Travis was filling that role.

    But if you were to tell me that all of a sudden Travis becomes a 1000 ish guy, then that’s a different story. Then yes you do need a true #1. That seems to be the case of where we’re heading.
