Quite honestly I can’t stand only a few books that I’ve read, recently The Awakening by Nora Roberts.
Holy crap, do I reallllyyyyy want my money back. I was bored. So. Bored. The magic system was subpar, the characters just….ew, everything was so, so boring. The MC is an idiot.
What book is a zero star read for you?
The Shack (Young)… I am always mystified by how something can race into the cultural consciousness (like 50 Shades or Twilight). I read it because a relative raved about it. Never again. I’ll do my own picking; at least I only have me to blame… It read like a NaNoWriMo book with so many cliches in it I barely made it to the end, and it’s not a long book!
