The pats looked like a live dog last week. Can they turn it around and at least be competitive For a few weeks? Who knows. Solid defense, inconsistent offense.

The jets have an elite defense, a minimal passing game and good running game. Basically the rex ryan jets with less foot fetish. Whats their ceiling?

And of course, the Buffalo Bills. I do not understand this team. McDermott is a good coach who owns us head to head. And they have a stacked (if injury depleted roster) but theyve basically played like shit for 5 weeks. Is it injuries? Bad playing? Not bringing your best for substandard competition?

What do you make of our division rivals at roughly the halfway point of the season?

Miami can not afford to underestimate any of our divisional opponents.

    • Buffalo owns us (9-1 the past 10 meetings), and until we beat them they will continue to own us. We need to win in W18 for this to be considered a rivalry.

    • The Jets are dangerous. That defense is nasty and they can run the ball. If the game is close they can definitely come out ahead.

    • The Patriots lack offensive talent (especially WR) but they can also be dangerous. BB knows how to scheme up a defense that can present problems for any offense. We’ve had success against them recently (4-1 the last 5 meetings, undefeated with Tua as the starter) but most of those wins have been by one score. The biggest margin was 13 points.

A 5-1 divisional record is very possible this season, and if that happens we’ll be in great shape. Anything less than 4-2 would be a disaster.
