The pats looked like a live dog last week. Can they turn it around and at least be competitive For a few weeks? Who knows. Solid defense, inconsistent offense.

The jets have an elite defense, a minimal passing game and good running game. Basically the rex ryan jets with less foot fetish. Whats their ceiling?

And of course, the Buffalo Bills. I do not understand this team. McDermott is a good coach who owns us head to head. And they have a stacked (if injury depleted roster) but theyve basically played like shit for 5 weeks. Is it injuries? Bad playing? Not bringing your best for substandard competition?

What do you make of our division rivals at roughly the halfway point of the season?

Patriots: had to get used to new offense and seem to be finding their way and will be competitive for the rest of the season.

Jets: better version of themselves than last year. Which is pretty good. They had a slow start because they started the season completely expecting Rodgers to be their QB1 so they had to readjust.

Bills: still a good team with injuries in their key spots. I think the offense was struggling because they’re trying a new offense where Josh doesn’t scramble as much but I think they figured out after last night, they’re a better offense when Josh uses his legs. And they probably will moving forward.

We like to talk shit about our division rivals but I still have respect on how good everyone is and can be for the rest of the season.

I think the Jets are a super lucky team. All 3 wins have been because of pure ineptitude and stupidity by their opponent. Their defense is good enough to keep them in close games, but a double digit lead is too much for Zack Wilson.

I also haven’t seen enough from the Patriots to call them competitive. I doubt they win 2-3 more games this season

Only commenting on Pats, as I live in NE and hate-follow them as closely as I follow Miami…

    They suck ass.

Buffalo wasted Josh Allen’s rookie contract years, Mac Jones is wasting NEs rookie QB years, and the Jets mortgaged their future on a guy on the IR.

Personally, idc how we win the division. And please for the love of God, at least 1 playoff win.

I actually think McDermott and especially Ken the basketcase Dorsey have been the biggest detriment to the bills this season. Bills fans certainly seem to hold this view especially after the patriots game.

Miami can not afford to underestimate any of our divisional opponents.

    • Buffalo owns us (9-1 the past 10 meetings), and until we beat them they will continue to own us. We need to win in W18 for this to be considered a rivalry.

    • The Jets are dangerous. That defense is nasty and they can run the ball. If the game is close they can definitely come out ahead.

    • The Patriots lack offensive talent (especially WR) but they can also be dangerous. BB knows how to scheme up a defense that can present problems for any offense. We’ve had success against them recently (4-1 the last 5 meetings, undefeated with Tua as the starter) but most of those wins have been by one score. The biggest margin was 13 points.

A 5-1 divisional record is very possible this season, and if that happens we’ll be in great shape. Anything less than 4-2 would be a disaster.

Pats - they’ll get a win here and there but ultimately finish with at most 6 wins

Jets - Strong defense, mediocre offense. Probably end up around 500

Bills - I have no idea what to think. They are legitimately 2 missed PI flags from being 3 and 6. I think they will finish with 9 or 10 wins
