I suspected this when I watched the game and they acted like John was just another guy but this now confirms it. Just sad they didn’t do anything on the broadcast to celebrate so many fans’ favorite player ever.

The reasoning in the article was given as “Our instruction to talent is to play the ball where it lies. Our fans are smart, and they get it. We don’t need gratuitous comments on either side of the ledger,” by Zach Leonsis. Makes no sense to me to apply this principle to someone like John Wall.

    How is Drew Gooden talking about nonsense entertainment?

    I want them to talk about basketball and provide insight to both team’s play (good or bad). Not talk about Crumble Cookie franchises.
