This is a common occurrence for me since I don’t have much time to play. I often get about halfway through and then stop playing for months. When I come back to it I always want to start from the beginning and then the cycle happens again.
One example for me is Fallout 4
I had to play assassins creed origins 3 times before I finally beat the story! I had never played an rpg before and compared to the old games everything felt so dragged out, nowadays I absolutely love rpgs so I guess it was just my age and being busy with school at the time
