We are coming super down to earth on the perimeter:
-No real shooting threats -No playmaking outside of Maxey.
Add it all together and you have an unacceptable roster in 2024.
Maxey isn’t a good playmaker. If he was the Sixers wouldn’t score 99 points with him as the main ball handler. Assists≠playmaking. Sixers offensive rating dips significantly when Embiid is off the floor.
That’s not how basketball works. Like seriously, you should think before pressing the send button.
To show you what an absolutely dumb statement this is, 30/30 NBA GM’s would laugh at it. Imagine watching that game, thinking ‘this’ and actually pressing the send button.

They shot 39% from the floor, 21% from 3 as a team. And I’ll be honest during this stretch it’s been a pattern(and yes, including Maxey’s own offensive struggles) and he still gave 8 dimes-1 tov tonight.
I could count on like 5 passes in the first half alone, that weren’t converted into buckets. An assist is only an assist, if someone makes a fucking shot.
How this is still hard in 2024, is just mind blowing. Think the game, before making a post.
