    Maxey went 7/14 on 2’s(50%). A 50% FG percentage for a guard is very, very good. And of the 5 3’s, 4 of them, FOUR freaking rimmed out.

    There was absolutely nothing wrong with Maxey’s shot selection, it just didn’t go in.

    This is not a Maxey/Embiid issue. This is a supporting cast issue. Hell, we didn’t even think Oubre would be as efficient as he was before getting hurt.

    We do not have shooters on this team. No one on this team is reliable outside of the top two.

      Agree. You have to have willing shooters with a reasonable probability of success. He has a good chance of being successful. Some of the other guys do not have a good probability of getting the ball in the hoop. I would rather have Maxey take shots.

      For Maxey to be reliable he can’t have these poor shooting nights when both Embiid and Harden are out which he’s done v Minneosta, in preseason and in the 3 games Embiid & Harden both missed last season aswell as the 20 odd games off the bench too.

        You picked about 20 games in a career of like 164 games played. Also, by cherrypicking, you neglect the games he played well.

        He averaged 29/5 in games without Embiid last season.

        You’re the only one concerned.
