We have an insane amount of depth after seeing that young man CPJ come out and absolutely kill it. The problem is, it’s a bunch of guards. If we go through our roster, I won’t mention Bates, Big brother Mobley, Jones, or Merrill I don’t think they’re NBA material at this time, except for maybe Merrill but sees next to no minutes for us anyway. At the 1 2 3 we got

DG Spida Strus Levert Okoro CPJ (what a gem) Ty Rubio (I don’t think bro is coming back)

Leaving us with

Mobley JA Niang TT

Do you think the Cavs are looking into trading 1 or more of our smaller guys for some help at the 4/5? Who would you be getting rid of and for who? The Giddey situation at OKC, especially having their type of draft capital, could have them looking for a replacement if things go south.

So, two things come to mind:

    1. He’s probably #1 on the list of “wings who play for the Cleveland Cavaliers” and I thought the premise of this post was about 'forward depth,’ and yet…

    2. He’s still undersized to be that prototypical dude on the wing who can erase other primary perimeter threats. Given the shortness of Mitchell/DG, I think we really need a guy in the 6’6’’ - 6’9’’ range in this spot (your DFS take is spot on).

Also, I think OP is kinda implying that the Cavs could trade someone like CPJ or Jerome for Giddey, which is downright hilarious.
