I’m always going to be thankful for Ron for one reason, and that was he was given the franchise and made the face in some terribly dire straits. While I’m not going to say he thrived or was even sufficient, at least there was a guy out there that people respected and for awhile, the players seemed to love him too.
That said, it’s time to move on. He’s been cursed since he got here and I wish him a happy life because he’s going to be done with football. I think he will do well in some form of talking about the game but he’s not a coach anymore. He’s not a leader of men anymore.
We can slander him all we want, I’m not going to. Have a good retirement Ron.
