    I was a nationals fan 2010 to 2019 (lost interest a bit), so I will say it’s perfectly fine to have a rebuilding team or even a bad time. Fandom is the friends you make along the way!

    I’m always going to be thankful for Ron for one reason, and that was he was given the franchise and made the face in some terribly dire straits. While I’m not going to say he thrived or was even sufficient, at least there was a guy out there that people respected and for awhile, the players seemed to love him too.

    That said, it’s time to move on. He’s been cursed since he got here and I wish him a happy life because he’s going to be done with football. I think he will do well in some form of talking about the game but he’s not a coach anymore. He’s not a leader of men anymore.

    We can slander him all we want, I’m not going to. Have a good retirement Ron.

    I know that the right thing to do is technically to hold out until the end of the year and fire him then, like a normal team would do.

    People act like he helped somehow during this whole turnover phase with ownership.

        Yeah I truly believe it didn’t matter what coach we had.

        Snyder fucked with the owners. He was done for no matter who was coaching this team.

        You can’t even give Rivera credit for being good with the media because he constantly threw players under the bus and admitted to the media he didn’t know playoff situations.

        Rivera needs to take his money and stay away from football. He is genuinely a horrible coach.
