Fans love Ausar now, although most were iffy on him prior to being drafted. Sasser looks better than your typical 25th pick.

Duren is considered one of the brightest spots on this team, and Weaver executed a masterclass to acquire him on draft night.

Some say Cade & Ivey were no brainers, but GMs of Pistons pasts were known to go with outside the box picks.

Yes, he whiffed on the Killian pick but followed it up with solid selections of Bey & Stewart. (IMO the Wiseman trade shouldn’t negate the fact Bey was still a good pick)

This is more focused on his drafting, but you can also make the case flipping Olynk for Bogey was a A+ trade. His biggest FA splash, Grant was flamed initially, but turned out to be a good signing.

IMO Weaver who hasn’t made many in-season trades finally needs to pull the trigger on one to complement this team. I’m willing to give him some time just because he has shown to have an eye for draft talent, however it’s time for him to show he’s more than just a good drafter.

Not at all; the Pistons are the worst in the league this year. They were the worst in the league last year. They have been the worst over the last 4 years. They have not one a play-off game since 2008.

If the drafting got worse, would anyone actually notice? If I were an owner he would not be coming into the office today or ever again. Add the Tellem’s to that list.
