Spectre aghs was swapped with her ultimate, giving her shadow step as her normal ultimate. They decided to move the shadow dagger on shadow step over to reality instead, making her capable of double shadow daggering by default now. She has become very good lately since she can be so active now and on her own has decent burst when she hits levels 6 and 7. I believe this was a mistake as it gives her a pretty strong option for early game, when she is supposed to be a sitting duck.
This change had the side effect of making haunt a really bad aghs ability, as not only does spectre now need aghs for anything she didn’t already have, but haunt is much worse now since it has to deal with the reality change. The fact it has a cooldown now is awful for when you want haunt now since you can’t change target super well anymore since it requires half of haunt’s duration to allow you to go to a second target. That haunt now uses shadow dagger, but its still a massive nerf to have a cooldown.
I put forward her aghs to be changed, as well as her current reality. Remove the shadow dagger from reality and put it on her aghs. To make the aghs all come together into something you actually buy, you could make it so aghs reads “Grants Haunt and causes Haunt illusions use Shadow Dagger when they are created.” granting the shadow dagger on both shadow steps illusion and on the haunt itself, using dagger on everyone. I would hope this goes with a cooldown reduction or removal to reality since it still leaves you stranded now, but map changes have made this a less of an issue. This would go along with a decent nerf still, but I firmly believe she should not being able to do this much burst when she reaches level 6.
I make this as a someone who has played a lot of spectre btw, this isn’t like a “I’m mad about losing to broken character” thing.
Aghs is more of a luxury item now for Spec isn’t it. You can get better items that helps u farm & fight.
Also Haunt is still a very strong ability in late game considering its 5 illusion of a late game spectre.
