The people clamoring for Flacco confuse me like little else has in a while. Flacco is almost 39 years old and has not been even kind of good in four years.
Keeping DTR confident and tailoring the offense to him is the key to riding our defense the rest of the year.
Plus, the real world isn’t Madden. They aren’t both 71 ovr so start either one, they have dramatically different skill sets. Reworking the playbook from scratch yet again to adjust for a completely immobile QB when we have won three games with mobile backups would be insanely stressful on our offense.
Just a scenario. As Browns fans, we think our backup QBs will do better. I.E. Holcomb over Couch, Manziel over Hoyer, DTR over Watson. From this post, I’m getting a sense of what actual Browns fans think about this situation because I believe this could very well happen.
