The score is 10-6. Let’s say the 1st interception was a wrong decision, and the 2nd interception hit off the hands of Moore and went into the defender’s hands. I would love to hear your POVs.

No, I think we only use Flacco if DTR gets hurt or is an embarrassment 2 weeks going.

I want some consistency. Schwartz is good enough to just leave the defense in his hands and stefanski can focus on coaching the kid. Whenever he focuses on the offense the qb starts to have career best seasons.

I can honestly see a nick foles in DTR. No long term starter but I bet he can limp this thing into the barn

No, that’s not the type of coach Stefanski is. Has he ever benched a QB mid game in 4 years? I don’t recall and I highly doubt it happens this week especially in a 1 possession game.

The people clamoring for Flacco confuse me like little else has in a while. Flacco is almost 39 years old and has not been even kind of good in four years.

Keeping DTR confident and tailoring the offense to him is the key to riding our defense the rest of the year.

Plus, the real world isn’t Madden. They aren’t both 71 ovr so start either one, they have dramatically different skill sets. Reworking the playbook from scratch yet again to adjust for a completely immobile QB when we have won three games with mobile backups would be insanely stressful on our offense.

Just a scenario. As Browns fans, we think our backup QBs will do better. I.E. Holcomb over Couch, Manziel over Hoyer, DTR over Watson. From this post, I’m getting a sense of what actual Browns fans think about this situation because I believe this could very well happen. We will hear chants for Joe on social media if the game goes south.

Joe won’t play unless Dorian gets hurt. And i haven’t seen a depth chart yet. He may likely be 3rd string.

Not this game…I think they need to sacrifice this game (win or lose) to see what they have with DTR going forward

DTR doesn’t struggle Sunday. He goes for 217, 2TD, and a lost fumble

First, I don’t think Flacco is your #2 just yet. He needs brought up to speed on the practice squad for a little while.

Overlooking that, I think Flacco is here in case our dream of DTR being really good, or at least average, turns out not to be true. You have to show your locker room you are doing everything you can to win at all costs. So no, I think if you put Flacco in a game, or start Flacco, you are saying the DTR project is over and you are going nuclear, hail-mary, last ditch effort with Joe, and if that doesn’t work then fuck it, there’s always next year.

Flacco is here simply so the whole season isn’t riding on the lightning fast development of Round 5 rookie, DTR. We all want it to come true, but the odds are against it. I’m rooting for the kid, but if he falls out, I’ll be rooting for Flacco.

    Goddamnit…that sounds so weird.
