His FT% dropped him to 92.3% and 8th in the league, but his FG% bumped up to 51.3% and his 3pt % also got up to 45.2% wc puts him back into the top 20 3pt shooters in the league.
A bit bummed that he had a pedestrian 4 assists on 5 turnovers (though this is probably coz KD wasn’t there to draw more attention away from Book), but so nice to see him get 4 steals and up his average to. 88 per game and also get a block as well, sgowing his defense was pretty solid this game. Five rebounds was also below average but you can’t ask too much after a 40 point game on great efficiency :-p I’m just spoiled I guess seeing him do better assists and turnovers wise in previous games…
And on the footnote, that last 3 gave the suns a 21 point lead to end the game! Soooooo nice to finally see a 20+ point win after a long while hehehe… On to New York!!! GO Suns!!!

Think of the prototypical 30ppg guys. Harden, Luka, Embiid. Guys who need the ball to be effective. BOTH book and KD I’m sure would be happy to have beal go off nightly, get more touches than them, etc. And same for beal.
NONE need to be ball dominant. That’s where this is more like Steph klay KD. Except dray and iggy were amazing defenders and shot 30% from 3, and we will have guys closer to 50% from 3 but much less defense.
Also, anyone remember any may/September title pairs like kd/book since duncan/Robinson?
