Despite early promise, most people consider Flores’ tenure a failure in Miami. But even then, he went 24-25 in 3 years. Meanwhile, Saleh isn 15-30. They could win it out and he’d still only be 21-30.

Let’s give some context to Flores record:

First year was a blatant tank job by the front office. Fire sale of main players like Tunsil and Fitzpatrick. Even then, Flores gets to 5 games.

Even as the roster got better, he completely alienated himself against Tua. Constantly benching him, apparently talking shit too. Flores was in the wrong, but even with that and absolute atrocious offensive playcalling, they did better then Saleh has.

This isn’t to say I want Flores lol. But it’s just one of many examples of how bad the JD and Saleh regime have been. Other rookie coaches like O’Connell, Ryans, McDaniel, and Dan Campbell step in and immediately implement a system, arguably on both sides of the field. At the very least, there is a consistent culture on both sides of the ball. This isn’t the case with Saleh

Flores was a failure because he hated Tua and was an asshole to him. Not because he didn’t win enough.
