I unironically think Allen ended up being the most important piece in the Ayton trade.
So far this season he is, but I think the Suns got a great haul back in that trade so far tbh.
I know Nurk get a shitload of hate in this sub, but he’s genuinely had more good games than bad ones so far for the team. And even in the bad games, he’s still making great passes (and dumb TO’s on his lazy ones) to cutters and using his physicality to actually fight for boards, unlike the last guy at that position for the Suns.
Nas has also turned it up the last couple weeks too, and I thought he was gonna be nothing but trade bait at the deadline. I’m happy to be proven wrong on that one too.
Yeah Nurk is alright he’s as advertised he’s got problems on defense but he offsets them with solutions on offense and his aggression on the boards is like dunking my head in cold water after years of watching Ayton watch the paint
